Last week I was invited to sponsor the local Youth Enterprise Scheme. No money is required, I just need to write four press releases over the year to promote their four big events.
I haven't written press releases for a long time, so it was great to be able to pull my trusty 'Writing Copy for Dummies' from my bookshelf, to refresh myself on the format and what to emphasise in the content.
This book has been written for both copywriters, and for people who don't really want to write but need to in order to promote their business. Highly recommended!
